ticket to ride is the only game I play out of those but those are all the basic games people start out with with."real" board games they call them gateway games or whatever.

I started out with castles of burgundy, forbidden Island and Pandemic and I've been hooked ever since....

Board game world is crazy I'd much rather get together with friends or play with my gf a game than play video games now

in the early 80's I wrote a program that would roll the dice for us and keep track of player stats and time for each game and then we would transfer the stats to a ledger.  My buddy and I would typically avg 2 hrs a day playing Strat o Matic foot ball.  we each had 12 teams and we would only play each others teams.

if I remember I entered a string something like p fl c 12 t

for a 12 yrd complexation to the fl for a TD... pretty sure I had it track field position too, as I remember figuring out how to do the algorithm was tricky for me as most of what I was doing was self taught through experimentation of code that all I had was syntax how to use it
