kinda random but anyone else fuck around with other sim sports games? I have logged some serious hours on OOTP baseball and FM (soccer), but never on BBS directly.. only via proboards leagues like this

I spent some time playing ootp 17 and own several of the newer versions, but never really got into the newer ones. It almost feels like it's Excel with a pretty gui. Heard that football manager is the same or worse and since I do follow soccer.... |

I spent some time playing ootp 17 and own several of the newer versions, but never really got into the newer ones. It almost feels like it's Excel with a pretty gui. Heard that football manager is the same or worse and since I do follow soccer.... The FM stuff is so thick that it can take hours and hours to get through just a few weeks of games. Never quite cracked that but but I'm not a huge soccer guy OOTP feels more like a baseball laboratory where you can get to know players of any era/environment with fun settings. |

It's crazy how deep their database is and the mods are ridiculous |
