I like Masdival but he is in lower tier than some of these other 170 guys. If Ben Askren doesn't get a lucky win over Robbie Lawler I am not sure if he gets to where he is now honestly. Not sure where he goes from here.

UFC loves promoting these Masdival, Nick Diaz, Chael Sonnen and to a lesser degree McGregor types who can draw fans in based on personality and fight style. I don't mind it.....but these fights can't be heading cards on UFC # (don't know what we call it) cards.

Masvidal and Covington is a Ppv fight imo Not sure what this means. This fight shouldn't be the Main Event on a PPV card and I think we saw this tonight. Covington is on a complete different level. Masdival is highly overrated as a fighter as much as I like him. |
