if the fillers are clearly disclosed in the PM and mutually agreed upon they need to be part of the trade thread! You can't do that. Then somebody will try to sabotage the trade by signing the player. sounds like you are taking a risk either way IMO. Besides its Quincy Acy we are talking about, not exactly a high value target in FA, especially in Nanz was offering over the MLE |

WHat are you tlaking about? You had 2 fillers. Bev or Acy to Dan, Bev or Acy to me was the plan - provided both sign. And you agreed to offer for both on Day 1. Worst case scenario - in the event one was somehow poached - you'd be able to match with Yao/Plumlee/Space. But the player was poached because you didn't actually OFFER for Acy. And then somehow took advantage of the situation to sign my Free Agent of all people |
