the people that say he sucks are either trolls or morons. he played behind an o-line that didn't have lane johnson for much of the year, had no LT, and didn't have all pro brandon brooks...they had the most o-line combinations in nfl history this past season, i think.
long story short, he played behind one of the worst o-lines ever lol. If that’s the case why not keep him and upgrade the line? Oh wait new HC? Cause of Hurts bro!! |

long story short, he played behind one of the worst o-lines ever lol. If that’s the case why not keep him and upgrade the line? Oh wait new HC? because he was incredibly pissed off about the drafting of jalen hurts after wentz frankly led a group of practice squad wrs to the playoffs. he was livid.
and then he had this atrocity of a season and his relationship with doug was toast once he got benched the remaining 5 games. they fired doug, but wentz wanted out regardless from many sources. he never even acknowledged the new head coach which told you he was mentally checked out here.

Why else trade for Wentz and give up a 3rd and a potentially 2nd/1st rounder? I mean of course they believe in him but why willingly give up a 1st if you don't have to? Colts averaged 65 snaps per game last year. That's around 1040. 75% of snaps is around 780. That's around game 12. If the Colts are 3-9 or something like that, I expect Wentz will miss the remainder of the season. If he sucks outright then same. If the Colts are really good and Wentz is good that's different. |
