Anything over 12 (max for guys coming off rookie contracts) and below 16.8 (VET max) is just extra typically. You really needed assets big time and this draft had a lot of solid 2nd rd guys that either looked solid or had A potential. A 2nd rd guy with A potential, if he had even a decent TC, could have been a very flipable asset. eh depends how his bids are done He can split his salary for a few vets or offer a vet, say, a 13 Mil salary or something like that, yes. He would've been better off using his cap now though because he can easily lose players while trying to sign guys and lose everything. Its just such a waste that he didn't really use those 2nds well. 2 2nd's in the top 8 could have gotten him, say, Keon Johnson and Isiah Todd. Two A potential guys that can be flipped, especially if they have good TC's. |

Sucks that Dwight retired. Typical guy you can get for exps I was going to be over the HC and offered him Dwight for cap. He told me no, that he wanted to wait for FA. I would have likely done a Dwight for Obure then tradeback kind of deal but idk. break has to get creative right now, especially if he doesn't land anyone. |
