Money Sumal
Position: PF
Height: 6'10
Weight: 210
Age: 21
Projected Ratings: C+ C+ D B C B
College: UCLA
Scouting Report:
Money Sumal is a volleyball player turned basketball phenom. He was the best volleyball player in the nation for the last 2 seasons at UCLA. Basketball coach finally got him to play his senior year. As he has shown flashes of being able to dominate on the defensive end by protecting the rim with his length and athletic ability, his offense is far behind. Money has a nice looking jumper and is "money", pun intended, from 15-18 feet on the pick and pops. He is also a very Good FT shooter. Doesnt like contact when he has the ball because of his lack of strength, also he gets pushed around under the basket for rebounds for that very same reason. Having only one collegiate season under his belt as a basketball players scouts believe he has so much untapped potential offensively because of his IQ. Might be the smartest player in the draft. He plans on becoming a Brain Surgeon regardless of if he gets drafted by a team in the BBS or not. So if you draft Money, you are not only getting a basketball player but maybe in time a team surgeon as well.
Stip: If he doesnt average more than 25 MPG by the end of his rookie contract he will just focus on becomeing a Surgeon.
Strengths
Soft touch around the rim to 18 feet out
Has quick jumps allowing him to recover for blocks
Doesnt turn the ball over
Quick for a guy his size
Athletic
Will make FTs
Weaknesses
Soft, lack of strength
Not polished offensively
Does not battle for the boards
Might not be fully committed to his basketball career
Seems to be a black hole on offense, shoots whenever he gets the ball
