Pretty straight forward.
If you get fired you can get back on the WL.
If we don't have a WL youll probably just get another season.

ok, so how is this fair to a team in the east that goes 40-42 when the west will have teams making the playoffs with a 32-50 record?

Nothing in life is fair.
Secondly this is about getting fired. So IMO I think management and fans would appreciate a 32 win playoff berth than a 40 win non playoff birth.

Nothing in life is fair. Secondly this is about getting fired. So IMO I think management and fans would appreciate a 32 win playoff berth than a 40 win non playoff birth. being lucky in a crap division and not having to try is a better gm than one that tries? |

Rule is legit.
Worked for many versions of BBS.
This year is an anomaly.
If you cant win 42 or make the playoffs in the alotted time Im pretty comfortable with replacing.
