But I'm going to step aside now from BBS and give the next guy (hopefully chipper) a full off-season to take the reins of Detroit. Just not engaged in the league anymore - the passion is kind of gone. And honestly with work and travel really ramping up for me recently, it's taken lower priority for me and feel like Spencer and every GM deserve better. Not to mention, sleep has come at a premium now with a 6 month old so it's just not like it used to be. I've had a blast reconnecting with most of you for the past 18+ months or so - it's been a great ride. To Spencer , thanks for bringing BBS back and for all your work during those early mornings and late nights. Not sure how I would have been able to cope through the height of the pandemic without this league and really feel it came on during one of the worst stretches of my life so forever grateful to you for that. If I'm in the bay area again, I'll ping you and manasrai up. I'll pop in every now and then just to see how everyone is doing and hopefully keep in touch with some of you guys on IG. On a side note - if a BBS bachelor party for Go Niners actually happens, I'll try to move mountains to be there! |
