Gonna try something new. So Im gonna make George Mikan as a FA. He'll be eligible to sign after the AS break. He will sign for the MIN.
After I announce he's available you'll PM me and tell me you'd be interested in signing him. I will take all the teams interested and run a RNG to determine who will sign him. It'll be essentially just for the stretch run and playoffs. Then he'll be a FA after the season.
Thoughts?

Changes the balance in a totally random way
Maybe a good reserve type
Or make him an fa to start with
