2036 182 Spurs Sign SG Anthony Edwards for $50,859,375 over 3 years.
Anthony Edwards SG 35 6'4'' 231 B+ A+ C A- C C
Spurs re-sign their best player to a very reasonable 3 year deal. Despite being 35, Antman is still a superstar in this league. Spurs will enter next season with their big 3 intact but will obviously need bigs to contend in the West.
2036 182 Lakers Sign PG J.W. Fullerton for $34,481,000 over 4 years.
J.W. Fullerton PG 31 5'10'' 175 B A- B- A C C
A very underrated Point Guard for the Lakers who returns to a newly revamped squad. He joins new faces Don Barksdale, Victor Wembanyama, Dario Stojakovic, and Trenton Richardson. Probably a top 5 starting lineup in the league. Lakers will no doubt contend for a title next season.
2036 182 Kings Sign PG George King for $27,500,000 over 5 years.
George King PG 26 6'0'' 175 B- B A- B C C
Similar to Fullerton, George King returns to his previous squad as well. Another talented point guard who will look to lead Sacramento to the playoffs. Major changes were made in the cow town but King should be able to improve his game and build chemistry with some new teammates. If he can develop a consistent 3 pt shot and improve his defense, Kings will have a stud PG for the foreseeable future.
2036 182 Rockets Sign SF Harrison Mix for $4,500,000 over one year.
Harrison Mix SF 31 6'6'' 213 A- A- C+ B+ C C
Ah, once an OG for my Denver Nuggets. Mix continues to move around in the league and this time, joins a wing heavy squad in Houston. Not sure how he will fit into their rotation but he most likely will become trade bait next season. Houston are a very young team in rebuild mode so it makes sense if they move him for an asset down the line. At 31 years old, Mix may be best suited on a contender.
2036 182 Knicks Sign SG Max Zaslofsky for $1,200,000 over one year.
Max Zaslofsky SG 29 6'2'' 170 B- A- C- C C- B
Nice bargain signing for the Knicks as Zaslofsky averaged 15 ppg for Houston last season. He will add depth to the Knicks backcourt.
2036 182 Hawks Sign SF Tony Lavelli for $1,646,442 over 2 years.
Tony Lavelli SF 28 6'3'' 185 B- B- C- A C B
Nice defender who hasn't proven anything yet. May finally get some playing time on a Hawks team that doesn't have much wing depth. Lavelli looks like one of their best players off the bench atm.
2036 182 Mavericks Sign PF Jermaine Flowers for $4,500,000 over one year.
Jermaine Flowers PF 30 6'11'' 278 C C- C- A- B+ D
Like above, Flowers hasn't had much playing time in this league but he can surely defend and rebound when given the opportunity. MLE might be a little too steep for his price but you can't have enough bigs that can defend and board. Hopefully he will be worth the price on a Dallas team that needs depth behind Red and Worm.
2036 182 Pacers Sign C Deshawn Allen for $5,400,000 over one year.
Deshawn Allen C 30 6'10'' 250 B+ C- C B- B+ D
A player I once nicknamed "prime z-bo" returns to an Indiana squad that just lost Jalen Mblocka. Allen has been a bust since being selected as a top 10 pick in 2024 but Pacers will need him to produce next season after losing their starting big man. Allen plays no defense at all so he is only best suited off the bench as a scorer/rebounder.
2036 182 Mavericks Sign C Ed Mikan for $725,000 over one year.
Ed Mikan C 29 6'8'' 230 B C C B- B- C
The younger brother of George returns to Dallas who will provide offense and boards off the bench. Nice cheap role player for the Mavs last season.
2036 182 Knicks Sign C Kai Jones for $1,440,000 over one year.
Kai Jones C 35 7'0'' 226 C C+ D- A- C+ C
This might be Jones last season in BBS as his career is declining fast. Still a very good shot blocker when given playing time. Can he crack the Knicks rotation next season is the question.
2036 182 Hawks Sign SF Bob Feerick for $1,200,000 over one year.
Bob Feerick SF 34 6'3'' 190 A- C C- C C C
An in-season FA last year who played with Phoenix and won a championship. Nice way to start a career in BBS. At 34, he joins a new team in Atlanta who can surely use his elite inside scoring off the bench and help them make a run for a championship next season.
2036 182 Pacers Sign SF Easy Parham for $1,200,000 over one year.
Easy Parham SF 33 6'3'' 200 C C B+ B+ B+ B
His name should be Un-Easy Parham as he hasn't proven much in this league. At 33, it will be tough for him to find playing time on a Pacers team that have better talented wings. His ratings hasn't translated to playing good basketball or seeing consistent playing time at all. Perhaps he's only a fun locker room guy to have around.
2036 182 Raptors Sign C Dick Knostman for $1,173,942 over 2 years.
Dick Knostman C 23 6'6'' 215 B- C D+ B- B- C
Young player who hasn't played one minute of basketball yet. Close to the HC, Toronto needs cheap guys to fill their roster.
2036 182 Timberwolves Sign SG John Oldham for $8,500,000 over one year.
John Oldham SG 31 6'3'' 175 C C C- B C B
Salary filler for a trade.
2036 183 Heat Sign SF Zion Williamson for $6,000,000 over one year.
Zion Williamson SF 36 6'9'' 296 A- B- C+ B B- D
6M for a former all star and all league teamer? What a steal for Miami. He should continue to play at a very high level next season despite being 36. 6th man of the year candidate.
2036 183 Magic Sign SF Jim Pollard for $5,200,000 over one year.
Jim Pollard SF 32 6'4'' 185 B+ B B B B C
A scorer who can do a little bit of everything, returns to an Orlando team looking to make another push for the playoffs. The former #6 overall pick has been a late bloomer and will look to produce similar stats next season.
2036 183 Wizards Sign C Dezmond Davis for $6,400,000 over one year.
Dezmond Davis C 31 6'11'' 233 B+ C+ C+ A- A- C
Speaking of late bloomers, Davis is another player who has developed his game late in his career. A double double threat any given night who can block as well. Wizards are likely in rebuild mode, however, so expect them to move him to a contender before the trade deadline.
2036 183 Pistons Sign C Chuck Share for $8,200,000 over 2 years.
Chuck Share C 27 6'11'' 235 C+ C- C- B+ A- B
Detroit needs all the bigs they can get. He can rebound and d some but that's about it. 0 stocks which hurts his game but Pistons needed to bring back their big man regardless.
