That’s a rule change I don’t understand Whenever labor strife occurs- you have to bring the fans back. Last time it was steroids. Banning the shifts means more offense, among other things they are legislating to bring more "excitement".

A 2010 Harvard University survey analyzing body mass index (BMI) found that more than 55 percent of professional baseball players are overweight.

THIS I AGREE WITH TIMES A BILLION although to be fair your Braves were only in the playoffs because of the prior playoff expansion. Nah- the prior playoff expansion technically was the addition of a 2nd wild card team. We won the division- so yeah, the reshuffling of divisions back in 94 was the reason why we made it because 3 division champs, etc, but the amount of times we had the best record in the 90s-2000s and would have gone straight to an NLCS/WS and instead got knocked out by the team that got hot is crazy Was nice to be the team that got hot at the right time, for once.

its kind of a give and take because you have that one Mariners team from the 90's that won like 106 and missed the playoffs so they would get in now. but this is definitely a cherry picked example

I was thinking more about how they had the worst/second worst regular season record in the entire playoffs

Seattle 2001 with ichiro rookie year broke the regular season wins record and got bounced first round. Right- this. The 2002 and 2003 Mariners missed playoffs with 93 wins.

The seattle he’s talking about had Griffey, randy, etc Not sure which one he's talking about though- the years they made the playoffs in the 90s they had good records but the years they missed, they really didn't./

Best record they had in the 90s when they missed was 96 when they won 85.
