2037 181 Wizards Sign PG J.L. Parks for $12,000,000 over one year.
Decent pick up. Its only for one year so nothing negative to say about this one. Parks is a good all around point guard. He can score, handle and defend. His turnovers are low too. Nice pick up for the Wizards.
2037 181 Knicks Sign SF Scottie Barnes for $55,800,000 over 3 years.
Hopefully he doesnt go down because Barnes is 36 years old. Might be a little to big but if he doesn’t go down in training camp this guy is still a nice player. He scores, handles, defends and rebounds. Decent pick up for the Knicks
2037 181 Super Sonics Sign SG Gabriel Jackson Jr. for $70,800,000 over 4 years.
Sonics are hoping Jackson does not go down in training camp. Jackson is 31 years old. Last year he put up 33 ppg. If he can keep that up for this season the sonics are looking very good. Might be a little to long but as long as he doesnt regress then it should be fine.
2037 181 Nets Sign SG Kyle Kennedy for $67,804,880 over 6 years.
This contract is interesting. Its not big yearly but its very long. Its a six year deal for a 30 year old. Perhaps Kyle doesnt go down in his training camps but if he does this contract might be a bit bad. Hopefully it works out for Nets. Kyle is a nice scorer. The defence is not so good though.
2037 181 Celtics Sign SF Lebron Johnson for $22,050,000 over one year.
Lebron signs for one year 22 mill deal. Nothing to complain about here. Its a big expiring. Lebron is a decent all around small forward. He scores, handles, defends and rebounds. Decent pick up for the Celtics.
2037 181 Knicks Sign SG Ray Evans for $4,700,000 over one year.
Knicks sign Ray and dealt him to Blazers. Nothing bad to say here. Its a small one year deal. Ray is a good scorer with decent volume. But thats about it. But the contract is small so it doesn’t matter. Decent signing for the Knicks.
2037 181 Heat Sign C Mel Hutchins for $115,500,000 over 7 years.
This guy might have been the best big in free agency. Maybe even the best player in the free agency. He is 27 years old and he scores, defends and rebounds. Very good signing for the Heat. This guy is a beast.
2037 181 Pacers Sign PG Jimmy Darden for $5,400,000 over one year.
Another one year deal at 5 million. Darden has some volume but thats about it. He is a decent ball handler. His defense is non-existent. The turnovers are a bit low though. Meh signing to be honest.
2037 181 Pacers Sign PG Whitey Skoog for $7,500,000 over one year.
Pacers trade Skoog to Hawks. Skoog is okay. Its a one year deal for 7.5 million. He looks like he has some volume. The turnovers are a problem though. He is a good shooter with some handles and defense. Its an okay signing.
2037 181 Trail Blazers Sign SG Max Zaslofsky for $1,200,000 over one year.
Blazers trade Max to Knicks. This is a very very small contract so its whatever. Max has some volume and is a nice shooter. Thats about it though. He doesnt offer much else. He isnt a good defender. But is a very small contract so nothing to complain about.
2037 181 Pacers Sign C Raven Anders for $4,500,000 over one year.
Very nice pick up for the Pacers. Its was an MLE signing. Raven defends and rebounds. Good value. I really like this signing. Raven should play very good for the Pacers.
2037 181 Super Sonics Sign SF Ernie Barrett for $90,000,000 over 6 years.
Might be over paid but Sonics like the age and the efficiency. Plus he has some stocks. Ernie should fit in Seattle very nicely. Perhaps he comes off the bench to start the season?
2037 181 Cavaliers Sign PF Alex Hannum for $4,500,000 over one year.
Good signing for the MLE. Hannum is a very nice rebounding big. He has some defence. His blocking is very high. Nice pick up for the Cavs.
2037 181 Pacers Sign C Orel Gaswiser for $19,440,000 over 3 years.
Good signing for the Pacers. Its a small 3 year deal. He is 30 so he shouldn't go down much by the end of the deal. Orel blocks, defends and rebounds. I like this deal for the Pacers.
2037 181 Mavericks Sign C Ed Mikan for $934,020 over one year.
This signing was the vet min. Mikan is a decent big. He does a bit of scoring, defending and rebounding. Its a small contract though so nothing bad to say here.
2037 181 Rockets Sign PF Linc Richmond for $4,500,000 over one year.
Linc is similar to the Mikan signing but Linc has a bigger deal. But its only a one year deal. He scoring a bit, and defends and rebounds.
2037 181 Trail Blazers Sign C Boomer Dipp for $2,200,000 over 2 years.
Nice signing. Very small 2 year deal. Boomer is a good defender. Very nice shot blocker. He is not really a good rebounder though. Nonetheless a good pick up for the Blazers.
