I will tell you things I like (BLUE) and things I don’t like (RED) about your team. Let’s end it with the Western Conference. Here we go!
Memphis Grizzlies
I like how many QUALITY picks the Grizz own right this minute. They have fringe lotto picks in the Lakers and Hawks. They then have the ‘39 and ‘40 Nets 1sts. They also have the Raptors ‘40 and Pistons ‘40 1sts as well. Absolute quality.
I don’t like to see that they might not make the playoffs in an extremely weak West without their pick this season. Has Rex tried to get some upgrades with his picks? Wonder what’s going on here.
Denver Nuggets
I like the Cousy/Anthony 1-2 punch. Legitimately the best in the biz. I still think the Nuggets have a heck of a shot at getting back to the finals with this grouping.
I don’t like the team’s impending HC concerns next season. They are going to have to move Foust or one of the big 3 to help elongate this run. I also don’t like their starting SF. I get it, there’s a lot of guys getting paid on this team so options are limited, but it’s rough starting a guy like Bob Patterson.
Dallas Mavericks
I like Red Rocha. He’s awesome in every single way.
I didn’t like that Wanzer/Worm swap for Brian if he wasn’t going to push the chips completely in. Maybe he just has struck out, but it makes that deal really look bad now. Worm>>>>>>>Wanzer in terms of value, and it’s not even close. I also dislike Gooms. He’s just not very good, and gets paid significantly. Rough player.
San Antonio Spurs
I like an active Royal! When he’s engaged in the right manner, it’s better for the league!
I don’t like that he has any foundational pieces on this roster. This is a rebuild that will almost assuredly take him into his CY UNLESS he has lotto luck.
Houston Rockets
I like Norman Pott. Underrated big right now. He also has +22 left! That’s nice!
I literally don’t like the big man situation in totality AND the PG situation. With those questions looming, and a CY coming up, this isn’t exactly an ideal situation. Broph is one of the smartest dudes here so I know he’ll figure it out, but things exactly haven’t gone according to plan for him in the beginning of his tenure here.
Minnesota Timberwolves
I LOVE Kevin Loathe and this team’s collection of bigs. Seriously one of my favorite players I’ve had in this league. Easily one of the best supersubs of all time…man would walk into 26/10 for me on great shooting splits. I also am a big fan of Newt. He can’t board or defend to save his life, but his steal:turnover ratio is incredible and he shoots the lights out.
I don’t like Lamelo Ball starting at PG for this team. I just think with the West wide open, I’d want a better PG leading the way for me. Interested to see what Eddy does here…if anything.
Utah Jazz
I absolutely love Worm AND Solomon. Would really be happy if I could’ve brought Worm’s ass here. Very good rebounder who has an incredible stock:turnover ratio. That trade was of tremendous value for harold. Solomon doesn’t get enough respect imo
I don’t like this team’s PG situation. Neither guy should be getting a ton of minutes. I think I’ve seen harold talk about Jack getting some RCs and ACs pumped into him, but this is a team that could be really good with a better PG leading the way. At the same time, as I’ve said before, the market is rough for PGs. We went from having a million to very little of them quickly.
Sacramento Kings
I like that Eddy Mac and Koa Peat 1-2 punch. These 2 are bonafide superstars who are consistent All Stars. I can count on them to get me 51/23/9/6 stocks on tremendous shooting splits. Awesome players.
I don’t like that we are only +1 on the glass this season. I think part of the problem is that Brock and Calculus aren’t strong rebounders and that makes up ⅔ of my frontcourt. We miss Kevin Loathe in this area for sure.
Los Angeles Clippers
I like that Greeme has a bunch of 1sts in 2039. Not the most valuable, but he should be able to use those for talent when he’s ready to do just that.
I don’t like Kenny Sears. Not a good enough rebounder to be a big, and not a good enough shooter to play at the 3. Just isn’t my type of guy. Looks like empty numbers to me.
Los Angeles Lakers
I like Donny Barksdale. He’s a unicorn of sorts, right? You can play him at the 3, 4, or 5 and he’s a matchup nightmare. An absolutely fun talent that I’d love to have for even just a season!
I don’t like Trent Richardson. Not sure what happened to him…I guess he had another bad TC. He’s had a weird trajectory here, but he’s just not an elite enough shooter for me to play big minutes at the wing spot. Certainly is an excellent rebounding wing, though.
Golden State Warriors
I like Chris Hudson despite him being 32 years old. He is a stock machine for a wing, and he can certainly still put the ball in the basket.
I don’t like that we really haven’t had a GM present for the last…like…what?...6 months? I just don’t get staying if you don’t really want to be active, but maybe that’s just me.
Phoenix Suns
I like George Mikan and that Andrew has given him some run at SF, but let’s go a different route here. I like that trade Andrew made for Maxwell. I think Fracci is fine, but Maxwell is such an efficient shooter who takes care of the ball. That should maybe improve things for Andrew.
I don’t like this team’s depth whatsoever. Like I don’t think I’d want any of those guys being on my team getting those types of minutes. Webber isn’t shit. Otto doesn’t really inspire. Pretty bad group. Needs to be addressed if the Suns want to make any semblance of a run in the playoffs.
Seattle Supersonics
I like the collection of young talent on this team with Dukes, Stokes, and Guerin. This is a team to really keep an eye on, and it’ll be interesting to see if he piece it together.
I don’t like this team’s depth as well. Slater isn’t my kind of player. Allen shouldn’t be a backup big whatsoever. There’s a reason this team is struggling to make it into the playoffs in a very weak conference.
Portland Trailblazers
I like Wat! Given the right situation where he is surrounded by elite rebounding bigs and wings, he’d be perfect for any team. He scores at an absurd rate, and takes care of the basketball as well. Fun player!
I didn’t like Vern Mikkelsen. I just don’t understand why some GMs like him, but he’s a backup big at best…and even still, no thanks.
Enjoy!
