After a one year hiatus, Ive brought back the biggest movers article. The 2039 TC is a weird one, with the possibility of +20 potential to players out there, I expect moree movers, but, that doesnt seem to be the case, as it starts off really strangely
With Jim Morgan, nobody 2nd round PG I tried to forfeit. +7 in TC and has all his camps left, but these notes
Jim Morgan PG 6'1'' 175 23 C B- B- C+ D+ B
Solid jumpshot and 3 point shot. Decent handles. Backup PG.
suggest this is an odd one
Another VERY weird one, with Sensky sitting in FA and going +4. Not a +20 guy obviously, just, random explosion, still has 3 RC's left too
Next up is one of the Sonics 20 PG's, going +1 inside, +2 handles, +1 rebounding. Looks like he could be a decent backup, based on his time with the Suns last year though, ehh, lower steals, low rebounding. Be interesting to see if any of that improved to be useful. Does seem to have all camps remaining, so maybe could be usable
I guess I shoulda +20'd burdette, but thats who the article is being written for, +4, but really only 3 of it matters, bumping 2 defense and 1 rebounding and turning into a decent depth big. Still has 3 AC's left and the +1, so Ill try and improve him there.
3rd year in the league, makes a pretty good jump here going up outside, handles, Defense, Rebounding. Seems to have all camps remaining, so gives some promise. 4 players in, no potential boost
So far, none of the players that have exploded have been notable, and this continues the trent. +2 Outside, +1 handles, +1 defense for whoever this guy is.
Finally, somebody notable, with a +10 potential added, Elgin is a monster, A rebounding now, had outstanding shooting last year and bumped to A outside now. Yeah, big win here.
Didnt really get much info on this one in notes
Win Wilfong PG 6'2'' 185 24 C+ C+ C+ B C B
Pretty solid across the board. Should be a very good backup PG at least.
Looks like he hasnt been camped yet, and went +1 Outside, +1 Handles, and +2 defense, +scouted up. Seems like a nice pick in a TC that was great for PG's. Not potential boost given here either.
+20 potentialed and sent to the Celtics as part of the St. Cloud deal, Lazor made some nice gains. Nothing really elite yet in year one, but with these notes
Bob Lazor PF 6'6'' 210 22 C+ B- D+ B- B- B
Can shoot, handle and rebound. Slow. Good post defender. No stocks.
Probably more of an SF? depends on how much slow is gonna matter there really.
I see Svedda got his Ron Tomsic
but really, up outside, up handles 1, up 2 defense, promising start, and yet another PG going big.
Well +3 at 29 without a potential boost, Kaftan looks great all around now, going up Inside, Handles, Defense. nice pickup for cheap last year by Washington, and should continue to contribute at a great rate.
+10 potential, big gain it looks like, going B+ to A- outside. Handles at PG can be interesting, there is a weird space where players go from B to C+, which makes no sense, but I doubt there is a decrease here. We know he takes care of the ball well and steals. Great long term PG.
I feel like Larry heard everybody bitching, and went +3 Defense and 1 rebounding. Lost 1 handles, question will be was that just passing or will there be more turnovers too, but big benefit here from the +10 potential.
Cliff taking advantage of the +20 potential bonus here, the bump to A outside should mean great things for scoring, and a gain to rebounding as well. The handling rating gain is kinda whateverr, but Cliff looks great
Slaughter picks himself up slightly to fringe starter status, but solid backup now, he blocks shots pretty well. no birds for the Knicks, so a one year rental guy, but always nice to have good contribution from a min.
Who. 11 years in goes +3? another backup contibutor really.
Perry's question will always be handles, but he made big gains in scoring, going +1 inside, +2 outside. Getting closer to maybe where he can run some SG really.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH, anyway
Stud defensive big now, gaining Outside, Handles, Defense. I mean, he was a stud before but the A- Defense looks so nice. He was beneficiary of a +10 potential, so it makes sense we see some improvement.
He defends now? Inside gain is kinda whatever, but a +2 defense helps, needs rebounding help.
Alright its rapid fire time, LOTTA players that went +3 this year, damn. Lear looks like an outstanding scorer, getting to A outside is so nice, bumped handles, bumped rebounding. Issue is of course the rebounding. Can go backup 1/2 if his handles are good though.
Sure
Nice small gains outta a rookie, but the rebounding thing is a concern. needs more to be usable.
Solid gain, got +10 potential, will wanna see how he plays, but gaining rebounding and defense in TC one is promising (also gained handles). Still has his camps left, so looking like he might be a good starter long term.
Was not given the + potential, which is odd, but gained +1 inside, +1 outside, 1 handles, 1 defense, but traded in the C+ rebounding for it. hard to keep that at PG with the cap at 50 rebounding ratings, not really a surprise.
Gains to handles, defense, and rebounding. The rebounding gain is really nice here, really cant run C at SF, but this gives more flexibility, + rebounder at SG, ok at SF, and only a rookie.
Here is where the +20 that Hot Rod maybe shoulda gotten went. Ray Radziszewski PF 6'5'' 210 22 C+ D+ D+ C B+ B
Elite post defender. Good inside scoring, handles and rebounding. No stocks. Very slow.
Odd one to try to inflate, with no jump shot things are rough. Still could become an elite rebounder in the future.
Normally, +3 in TC would be good, and gaining outside and 2 handles is fine, but this was a big boom TC for a lotta TC's so its left some depression behind I guess for the Warriors. All comes down to how he sims, Notes suggest, should be pretty good
Maurice King PG 6'2'' 195 22 C B- B- C C- A
Solid scorer, inside and out. Good handles. Some steals.
With Jim Morgan, nobody 2nd round PG I tried to forfeit. +7 in TC and has all his camps left, but these notes
