Gonna just go quickly through these signings with some whimsy and shitty analysis:
2043 181 Jazz Sign SG Newt Jones for $108,000,000 over 6 years. -- solid sign for the Jazz. It's a lot of money, but Newt is worth it. Very surprised he didn't stick with the Hawks, who according to reports, offered more money and a higher starting salary. But FBB gonna FBB. Newt looks great as the primary scorer on a Jazz team that will make some noise this season.
2043 181 Trail Blazers Sign SG Ernie Beck for $14,400,000 over one year. -- good signing, but he won't last long in Portland as Don is trying to sell him harder than John Sterling tries to sell a Stanton pop-out as a homer.
2043 181 Hornets Sign SG Bill Sharman for $15,000,000 over one year. -- Bill! Love this signing for the Hornets- low-risk at one-year, can still ball. He can be traded or they can keep him- with Lums you never know. I was thinking he might still be there to snipe on Day 2, but alas, I was wrong.
2043 181 Raptors Sign PG ZZ Clark for $5,000,000 over one year. -- Solid backup PG for just over MLE. Can't argue with that. The question is, is this the season that the FBB gods finally throw the axe down on his ratings?
2043 181 Rockets Sign PG Darrell Tucker for $4,500,000 over one year. -- good re-sign for the Rockets. Plays above what his ratings look like and Broph knows what he's doing on the statistical end of things.
2043 181 Hornets Sign PF Mel Payton for $15,000,000 over one year. -- I hate you so much for this Lumley316 . I knew I should have put a bid in for him on Day 1.
2043 181 Celtics Sign SG Bob Brown for $14,400,000 over one year. -- Stealing a player from his fellow CY team. I like the signing for the Cs- he can only help in the CY.
2043 181 Hornets Sign PG George King for $11,000,000 over one year. -- I don't understand using cap space for this guy on Day 1, tbh, but he had good signings elsewhere so I think this is fine. Think he coulda been had Day 2, but maybe I'm wrong.
2043 181 Raptors Sign C Jim Krebs for $115,500,000 over 7 years. -- The clear marquee signing on Day 1, had Braz not re-signed him, his team woulda fallen off faster than the Mets are about to in the 2nd half.
2043 181 Spurs Sign C Jalen Mbala for $12,500,000 over one year. -- I like the signing. Jalen can still ball and I want to see the Spurs do well because Ashes is that dude.
2043 181 Lakers Sign SG Dick Gaines for $90,000,000 over 6 years. -- I would not have paid that much for Gaines myself, but everyone loves Nanz because he's awesome so we'll let it slide. He's a solid rebounder for his position, though.

2043 181 Grizzlies Sign PF Charlie Tyra for $20,000,000 over 2 years. -- Tyra is really solid and still has some potential, so I like him getting 2 years here.
2043 181 Rockets Sign PG Alan Schutts for $1,200,000 over one year. -- sure!
2043 181 Celtics Sign C Bob Hopkins for $10,000,000 over one year. -- should definitely be a help to the Celtics trying to reach the CY goal- he's excellent with blocks and should be good as a starter.
2043 181 76ers Sign PF Bill Hull for $4,500,000 over one year. -- surprisingly solid with good stocks. Fine pickup.
2043 181 Grizzlies Sign SG Alonzo Lewis for $20,853,000 over 3 years. -- guy gets good stock-to ratio at SG at least. If it's for just his defense and decent rebounding, then this is fine. Can't do jack on offense, though.
2043 181 Warriors Sign SF Lavelle Langston for $47,520,000 over 3 years. -- it's a LOT of money, but his stocks are crazy good with amazing handles. Can't fault this.

2043 181 Super Sonics Sign C Amos Ashford-Fleet for $4,500,000 over one year. -- This is an unreal signing. I made the mistake of not 1-year maxing him and I should have. Great pickup for Matt.

2043 181 Pacers Sign SG Kurt Englebert for $8,000,000 over one year. -- Solid signing for depth behind Loughery. Could work well off the bench.
2043 181 Pacers Sign C Jerry Reed for $8,000,000 over one year. -- I really like Jerry Reed, he's a solid depth big which is what I think the Pacers want him for.
2043 181 Knicks Sign C Marcus Frieberger for $5,000,000 over one year. -- great bring-back for $5 mil. Boards and blocks.
