Dwights peak was waaaaaaaaaay better then Yao’s peak. Yao never made it out the 1st round hue. Dwight made it to the finals. Speaks for itself and Dwight played with Hedo and Rashard not tmac. Ming was older when he came over and took longer to develop So dwight was better thanks |

Skill can only do so much for you at the NBA level. If Dwight has a work ethic he could’ve been as good as shaq. Anyways dwight had a better career and impacted his teams during his prime more than Yao was my point. I agree with Play on this one |

Yeah, Dwight was definitely better than Yao. Though Yao's game translates better to FBB. Idk if i would say that Dwight might never score efficiently, but his stocks should be 5+ a game which should be more than Yao. Rather have a big that can do that then score and defend a little. |

Hands of stone and feet of bricks. Can't make a freethrow. Can't pass out of the post. Poor footwork, turnover-prone. Had Kareem working with him in LA and Hakeem working with him in Houston but still couldn't develop one unstoppable go-to move. Yet he wanted the ball down low and wouldn't want to play in a run-and-gun type of offense where he once thrived and went to the finals. Yeah Yao’s feet betrayed him- had Dwight ever developed that one unstoppable move it’d be a different story- but he never did.
Yao was a better overall player- the reason people think Dwight was better was because he had that otherworldly series against the Cavs and made the Finals out of a weak East. Yao was stuck in the ridiculous West and that’s not his fault.
