Obvious #1 pick, and even with the stips is gonna be an offensive stud, and with the right camps might be better that KAJ ever was iirl. Rare the tank works out for the #1 pick, but Ashan is Ashan and always has the luck of the irish, unlike anyone else that ever was the GM for Boston.
2 Denver Nuggets (via Grizzlies)- PISTOL PETE MARAVICH

Good inside, mid and 3 point scoring. Elite quickness and steals. Solid handles.

Drafted by name recognition, and will be a force offensively, but is he a poor mans Steve Francis III? Has handle issues that need to be addressed right away to have a chance, and if moved to PG as predicted by some, might become unplayable.
3 Dallas Mavericks - BINGO SMITH

Good inside scoring, jumpshot, handles, quickness and post defense. Solid steals, blocks and rebounding.

This was a damned if you do damned if you don’t position to pick, and Bingo might be the man-o or he might be the 5th best player in the draft. Pre draft articles showered him with love, but was everyone wrong? Bingo has to be a SG on Dallas, as they have Happy and TVA that are amazing SFs, and doubtful Bingo will be as good as either of them at SF. He cant stretch a D with outside shooting, and his D on the perimeter might be suspect.
4 Los Angeles Clippers - GAR HEARD

Good inside scoring, handles and strength. Good jumpshot, steals, blocks and post defense.

Obvious 4th pick, and probably the 4th best player in the draft. Gar is going to live up to the pick, and wont disappoint, however probably will never be a star. He will be able to start day 1 and be a solid big, and honestly you really cant ask for more. Has the opportunity to develop into something really special, but even if he doesn’t he will still be a good PF.
5 New Jersey Nets (via Magic) - BOB DANDRIDGE

Good inside, jumpshot and quickness. Solid handles, steals and rebounding.

Bob might be the 2nd best player in the draft, and no matter what Greeme got a great player here. Was the obvious pick with the Bingo and Gar going 3 / 4
6 Houston Rockets - JO JO WHITE

Elite quickness. Good handles and jumpshot. Solid steals and perimter defense.

Jo Jo is gonna be go go, and shows how deep this draft is. Potentially a day one starter that could avg 20 ppg, and wont be a total liability on D.
7 New Orleans Hornets - NEAL WALK

Good inside scoring and strength. Solid jumpshot and post defense. Some blocks. Mediocre handles.

Meh, nothing special but nothing to complain about. Will need to be camped right away to be good, but I’m sure he will be able to crack the Hornets lineup before his rookie contract is up. Seems to be a bit of a reach.
8 Orlando Magic (from Jazz via Sonics & Nets) - WIL JONES

Good inside scoring, jumpshot and quickness. Solid handles, steals, blocks and post defense.

Mr Jones should be able to start day one and be a good contributor to the Magic. Could have easily gone as early as 6.
9 Milwaukee Bucks - STEVE MIX

The knock on Mix is no blocks, and without those, can he even be a big in this block hungry league? He should put up the points though, and probably needs +8 to his jumpshot, lest he be a low % big taking too many shots.

Could be a reach, could be amazing. This was probably a reach pick. Had him on my radar for #26, but probably should not have been a lotto pick. That said, if I’m wrong, then this is the steal of the draft.
