This being the second time and still bailing him out is insane This narrative is gonna live. I cant change it. Also I didnt remember the previous cases where this happened or who was involved. I didnt remember Kobe had a previous HC issue similar to this. And it doesnt play into any decision I make here. Lastly Kobe has generally been a more cocally negative GM when it comes to some league issues and specifically the draft class. So while it may be easy to say " I play favorites" based on experiences... I cam honestly say I just wanna figure out a fair resolution to a very specific rare case. Im not exactly sure what Im gonna do yet but I plan to have a decision before the playoffs begin. |

i don't understand having rules and then whenever there's a time to make a tough call, not enforcing them. i get that it sucks and it's no one's fault, but still.

here's the rule: if a pg injury after the trade deadline results in you needing to sign a pg and go over the HC, spence signs you a horrible player and you have to start him throughout the playoffs. sound good. move on.

maybe the modification is a change to the "sign a PG rule" and change DC rule mid-sim in light of an injury?
A) That has always added extra work for spence, to do that in-sim
B) Feels kinda unnecessary, especially during the regular season
Sure, teams can get lucky if they have an awesome backup PG for a sim. But it seems like a lot of hassle in general. And then the rule is that if a team has an injury at PG, it has to sign a PG before the next sim. That would have at least given kobe the chance to use posts/injury rule.

its not that hard guys. Ill be swift here. No penalty for Chris. Ill edit the HC rule to state going iver the HC at the deadline is an automatic HC penalty. Fixed. |

It is very unfair that teams that follow the rules and carry a 3rd or 4th PG see someone break the rules and get away with it. |

The more I think about it I guess Kobe should just get the penalty. It sucks, and he said hed quit but its pretty clearly stated in the rules.
