1. Welcome to the RT fellas! How is your season going so far? Give me a good breakdown of your season thus far and where you want to improve.
Braz - Id say season is going alright. It is really not fun to tank/ rebuild but we were at the point of near tredmill. Pistol has been getting better and his % have improved. Marv has been underwhelming and that might be a blessing since we suck. We are the worst team so by that standard we are doing well? lol
Nanz - disappointing. We made some moves to get an elite big but the game on Phil being ready to start with Fred at the 3 didn’t work. It also really hurt us to have Fred and Bing hurt for a total of 10 games-ish combined where we got rocked. Its been tough but I still think we have a good squad. This last sim we moved Rudy to the 3 and started Heard at the 4… result: 3-1. Encouraging sim but we have to wait and see this lineup play more games. No moves needed I think… just patience.
hf - Season is going good, we struggled the first part but started getting hot. I wanted to add another superstar to the team so I can go all in and win a title and was able to get Oscar for Freddie and Stu. Love Freddie and Oscar is old, but so is Connie and we have to win in this window.
2. How are your pot boosts guys looking? What are you expecting from them next TC?
Braz -I think it will take a few seasons to really tell. Like they all had good TCs but I really think the boost will make an impact as it will allow MORE good TCs not just one great one. That is because Marv had 100 pot. Say now he has 85 so on. Pistol and Green got +15. Pistol likely had high pot as a rookie, got 15 before and Green hopefully had 75-80 coming in. I feel good about it. If one of these 3 become a true start (likely pistol) and the other 2 can be starters thats great.
Nanz -Rudy had a nice TC but nothing great. His numbers look pretty good but I still think he has a bit left in the thank. Next TC I would like to see him go up in inside and outside to get his scoring to the next level. He is still young so I think he still has a chance to develop into a superstar no doubt.
hf - I traded Greg to the Pistons, and he looks great for them. Happy for habes. I think he will continue to improve.
3. Trade deadline will be here soon. Will you be selling or buying? What players will be available and what will you be looking for?
Braz - For once I think neither. Id like to pick up more picks but have no means to do so. Maybe ill consider using pistol to trade into the lotto. But likely counter productive since id be drafting a worse player with out the pot boost.
Nanz - We def won’t be buyers. I don’t think we have enough pieces but also I don’t think there will be a lot of players available worthy of a big time move like trading Phil or Rdy or Layton etc. We could however be sellers if we look good enough to hit 42… team is good but I like the upcoming drafts… also, its nice to tank if you’re busy.
hf - I’m going to be looking at buying. I want another backup big, but Bartomelu can probably hold it down. Other than that the team will stay together. I might try to get a veteran shooting guard if a cheap one is available, but think Randy can hold it down.
4. Playoffs have been pretty wide open since the Raptors run. Who do you see making it out of the East and West this year? And winning the finals?
Braz -Ah the good times. I think the Wiz with that Oscar trade make a run, especially since it weakened boston at the same time. The West a lot of good teams. I think the Sonics will make it out. Would be a good finals! Ill go Sonics
Nanz - oh god who the hell knows…. Lol. I guess I’ll go with the Wizards now that they have big O and going all out for a ring. I think they beat the Mavs? In the finals.
hf - I’m not gonna be selfish and say us. That being said I see it being a Wizards vs Sonics finals with the Wizards winning.
5. 2055 Redraft, give me your top 5 from last year's class from what we've seen so far. Who are you surprised/disappointed by from that draft?
Braz - Top 5 is hard since I think a lot of guys still need to develop more but I will say I did not like the Barnes Auto, Mickey and Winters had no business going at 20/21 and Ice Man looks like a stud.
Nanz - lord… I don’t know… 1) Gervin 2) Bobby Jones 3) Caldwell 4) Truck 5) John Drew? I guess Drew looks pretty awesome and he really fell in the draft. Disappointment I guess I’ll go with Raymond Lewis? TOs are up, rebounds stanksss %’s are meh.

Braz - Not sure if I pick in this order based on need but I think big board is

3- Wilkes
4- Walton
5- Knight
I think Gus will be great but fall out of the top 5 maybe 10.
Nanz - dear lord really making me do this …. I’ll go with Malone – Walton – Jamal Wilkes – B Free – Phil Smith. I like Jan Van… will probably need some cmaps but he looks to have a really solid foundation to be great if his volume gets there? I dk man I’m pretty bad at drafting…

7. Do you think the Lakers need to trade Gervin to make his CY or will he be safe?
Braz - I guess its pretty close. I think they have other moves before trading George they can make. If they move GG theyd need to also replace an elite SG so cant see it making sense.
Nanz - West kinda stank but Gervin is playing pretty well. I think he should trade him for someone like Big Fred but I don’t think he will… also would love to be the lakes again….
hf -Outlawz is fine. Just needs to get some rebounding. Gonna make it regardless.
8. March Madness! Who do you have in your final 4 and winning it all? And how good is Brandon Miller?
Braz - I did not do the BBS one yet but for work I took Kansas over Bama. Undecided who i have those two beat... Pretty torn if Purdue moves that far or not.
Nanz - haven’t followed this year so have no clue sir… but lets go UCONN!!!!!!!!!!!! MY huskies gonna kill it and it doesn’t matter who the hell is in the final 4 with them… we’re going to dominate their ass!!!!!!
hf - Ummmm not sure. I will say I have Miami making a run though.
Miller is really good. I watched the game the other day and he has a killer instinct. He even caught a body in that game as well.
9. Should we buy Spence a generator so he can sim when his power goes out?
Braz - Id love to crowd fund something helpful for him. Let him make the call on what it is! If power is out hes prob also focused on the fam.
Nanz - put me down for 10 no questions asked….. we gotta get those sims. I need it…..
