We had an issue this postseason with someone being unhappy that I didnt text them to get their DC in and simmed without them.
The situation was pretty specific. 3 teams did not send DCs to me for RD1/PT1 while I was away. I simmed at 5 PM without those GMs. I simmed RD1/PT2 about 13 hours later without 2 of those same GMs. I did not feel a need to contact GMs that did not care to send a DC for RD1/PT1 in the 4 days I was gone.
I try to wait for all Gms for playoff sims and FA. I like all Gms to have a say in how their season ends. I like all Gms to have a say in who they sign in FA. But there is a limit to my patience.
There is no black and white rule for these things though. I have simmed playoffs without a check in from Gms before, and I will again. I have simmed FA without a check in from all Gms, and I will again.
Like most things in life there is nuance to these situations. I will use my best judgement. This may not be something you agree with.
