Lets chat through some (over)reactions from sim 1! They are always fun to dive into the stats and reactions. I will do a fact or fiction format I plan to break this up into east and west to get some more camps in.
The Boston Celtics- Greg Smith is the best player on the file.
Fiction- This could be true a few years ago and coming out of sim 1 Greg is doing 3.6 steals and 2.7 blocks. If he keeps that up those are unprecedented numbers but I doubt it happens
but he will turn this team around. Dennis Johnson is one of the best defenders at the PG spot and Dantly, Dawkins, Hodge should be tons of stocks all around. And lets not forget Cooper who is the stock man himself. Unless he blows this up he will get that point differential right!
Eastern (over) Reactions!

Orlando Magic- The Orlando Magic have a legit roster to reset this year
Fact- I mean hes getting the most out of a guy named cheeks. Honestly it all goes back to Magic! Great player great draft pick. Adding Marv was great and hes filling that need while the bigs down low are doing better than anticipated. East is tough but its Magic to me. Miami Heat- Larry Bird will finish the season shooting 50% or higher while Miami rests
Fact- The early word is out on Bird and yeah. Bird is the word. Larry shot 52% from the floor in 8 games and the heat are well positioned with a 7 point differential and a deep team. Reset should be good baring injury. Washington Wizards- Charles Johnson is a top 10 pg.
Factish- I mean I don’t have a list in front of me but Eddy found a diamond here and for sim 1 Chuck had 3.6 steals per game. He shoots effortlessly near the rim and from mid and handles the ball. Id guess hes easily top 12! New York Knicks- the Knicks GM is washed and cant get his guys to play defense
Fiction- I mean hes washed for sure

Fact- They did not win a game and they are now looking to rebuild. Smart move at this point but they are in a good position to quickly rebuild around king. New Jersey Nets- The Nets will average under 100 PPG this year
Fact- The Nets suck and greeme is the tank master with Cartwright as his biggest big. I could see this team viciously bottoming out and that’s good for him.Atlanta Hawks- Wardell Jackson is the leagues most under rated player.
Faction- I mean no one knew who he was or if they did it wasn’t a big deal, suns declined the resign and Hawks sniped this stud for an MLE. Now he looks like a top 2/3 in the league as he boards scores and stocks! Milwaukee Bucks- The Bucks have what it takes to reset facing CY next year.
Fact- We were chatting pre season that we are both in the same spot. We missed out on Magic/Bird and have alright rosters and gotta make it now or next year. Andy was hot out the gate and Dino is an absolute stuff. I love Ollie at the 2 and it seems the bigs so far are somehow doing enough. New Orleans Hornets- Ralph Sampson is the league’s top SG
Fiction- Its still Greg Smith but Ralph is pretty damn good. He is a 30/9 SG with good %. Jah keeps developing studs. Good work. Chicago Bulls- Kresimir Cosic is a starting SF in the league
Fact- Absolutely. Break troll here since he put up 25/8 with Dr J went down. God DAMNIndian Pacers- The Pacers have the best offense in the league
Near Fact- I mean who’s got a better 1-3 than Lamar, Smith and Issel! Few teams like the Bulls and Heat can prob keep up. Currently Chipper has the most PPG but wont last. When you look down low you got two absolute board men in Marvin Barnes and Green pushing the ball back through the funnel. I like Indy!Cleveland Cavs- The Cavs GM finds trades and tears it down with several teams in CY
Fiction- Steve aint trading Spencer H or Artis. I mean maybe but I don’t see it happening. Both guys could commend a pretty sexy haul if I had to guess!Toronto Raptors- Kiki will have the green light always and forever
Fact- Absolutely a fact. This guys is coming out sim 1 shooting 46% dropping almost 30 for me. Even if he falls down to the 25-27 range I am still happyDetroit Pistons- Hector Blondet is the most unique player in the league
Fact- Who else? This guy has been so cool from the start and to start the year hes a 5.7 stocks SF! At 32 I do not know if 5 will sustain but he is the most unique player since Calc Jones!
