Our TV went out today. Its a pretty old panasonic flat screen. The power goes out and the red power button flashes 4 times. Guess its a heat issue..
Any troubleshooting tips or eas fixes lmk.
Also any recommendations on new TVs?

What’s the budget?
I have a nice oled 77 inch tv I love and also a cheap 65 inch 4k on tv I got for 200 bucks on a Black Friday

One of the troubleshoots is dust so im gonna try that. Try that, if it doesn’t work, wait until Amazon Prime Day on July 11th. Amazon will obviously have deals but Best Buy and all other major retailers will also have deals (and/or price match on identical product). |

What's your budget TCL 4 Series/S455 2022 I have this and it's almost perfect. Only issue I've had is the remote is sometimes slow to respond. But I think that's a me problem, not a TV problem. |

I have a Vizio. It's fine.
I had a samsung before that and the TV went black maybe 3 months later. Like it started with half the screen then progress past that

Honestly all these tvs are similar no need to buy an expensive one. I have a big Vizio for the living room and a small Samsung in the room. Both are great.

I've never had issues with Samsung or Sony, but Vizios work just fine
