1. Minnesota Timberwolves - Isiah Thomas
Isiah Thomas PG 6'1'' 180 20 B C B+ B+ C A
Grade: B+
Meh, really was leaning Fat Lever as my first pick till the last few questions only said mediocre or bad, Isiah Thomas has it all, everything that you want from a PG, except shoot treys. The comments from Spencer which said "IT wouldnt have translated to FBB most likely. Elite inside and handles with potential should'nt be overlooked though." and "The overreaction to ratings is still surprising to me. Ratings dont mean much." on my mock draft move me to this direction. At least I have one of the best player in the 1980s now.
2. Dallas Mavericks(from Kings)
Fat Lever SF 6'3'' 170 21 B C+ B B B A
Grade: A-
Coming back to that Spencer comment made me think twice about my guy, he's still my 2nd or 3rd favorite prospect but that's a little step down from my hands down first pick. Succeeding questions probably make him a less desirable PG and more of a SG probably unless TCs make him improve on the PG aspects. Anyway, high rebounding and scoring ability still makes him a desirable young player in the league. And Ahsan calling him the next Westbrook is probably incorrect as Westbrook has that stip that he can't play any other position except PG. At worst he's still a solid starter/supersub, so still like him as a prospect.
3. Toronto Raptors
Larry Nance PF 6'10'' 205 22 B C C B+ C+ A
Grade: A
Ratings wise would have been tempting to take Buck Williams. But question and answer portion part of the draft gave that this guy will be a surefire stud, he's good at all the right things, reminds me of Josh Smith on late 00s sim leagues, should be a stud muffin and a wing you'd love to have. I debated taking him at 1 for like a few to be honest. Should be a great player, has it all.
4. Dallas Mavericks
Buck Williams PF 6'8'' 215 21 B C- C- B B+ A
Grade: B+
Second top 4 pick for the Dallas Mavericks, got Buck Fat for the two not a bad draft day for Brian, borderline D+ outside is kinda meh, but he has all the tools, HAS TO camp blocking before training camp though for a chance for him to be an elite big man, if not he's at least a excellent rebounder from the jump. I like him more pre-questions too but it's not a bad pick and someone I would have picked here too.
5. Denver Nuggets(CHI making pick)
Sleepy Floyd PG 6'3'' 170 21 B- C+ B- C+ C- A
Nuggets grade: B+
Bulls grade: B
Eric Money is a top point guard here, hopefully his decline on the steals department is a fluke last season, still he is ONLY 25. 4 years younger than Floyd but way way better right now. I was expecting Play to take any of the wings(Chambers, Aguirre, Blackman), still Sleepy is not a bad prospect with high inside. But can he be better than Money? Who knows a cost cutting trade here though, and if they steal a free agent along with re-signing Dr. J then this will be an A to Play, and never doubt Play.
6. New Jersey Nets
Tom Chambers PF 6'10'' 220 22 B B+ C- C+ C A
Grade: A
On the mocks I had him 3, Greeme had him 4, Ahsan had him 5. So this is a nice pick at 6. No way he is a power forward though question is can he defend at the 3 spot? He looks like the best out of the next wings picks here, should be a stud scorer. Nice pick for Greeme.
7. New York Knicks(from Wizards)
8. New York Knicks
Mark Aguirre SF 6'6'' 232 22 B+ C+ C+ C+ C A
Ronaldo Blackman SG 6'6'' 190 22 B B C- C+ C A

Back to back picks by Sargolini, sounds like an easy choice, another guy that might be considered here is Alton Lister, but he dont have the chance to be a star like these two (I'm only saying chance), some folks compared Lister to Mahorn but Mahorn was +15ed pot and fully camped I like this pick out of the remaining players at this slot, so I'll give Sargo an A-, A if he had a little bit of lotto luck and one of this moved up but that was out of his control.
9. Milwaukee Bucks
Alton Lister C 7'0'' 240 23 C C- D B+ B B
Grade: A-
BPA, easy choice here, already 23 though. He should be a very solid big in the league, I'm not ecstatic to get him if I was at this slot but at the same time, I wouldn't complain. Right pick, didn't overthink it.
10. Philadelphia 76ers
Sam Williams PF 6'8'' 210 22 B- C- C- B- C+ B
Grade: B
Solid man, I like the rest of the bigs available but those are personal preference. Habes likes him a lot apparently. Solid enough pick. But I don't know you'll camp him pre-tc without knowing how he sims, and it's usually better to camp pre-tc. I dont know I'm conflicted with this man.
11. Detroit Pistons
Herb Williams C 6'10'' 242 23 C+ D+ C- B+ C+ B
Grade: B
Had elite call back, would rather have him than Sam Williams, but again Personal preference, D+ outside though so probably stuck at the 5 spot. Decent pick. I prefer other folks over him though.
12. Los Angeles Lakers
Danny Schayes C 6'11'' 235 22 C+ C C- B+ B- B
Grade: B
Feel like all three are similar, I prefer him over the two picked above though, on first glance looks like he has better numerical rating as the two above, but as Spencer said don't look too much on numerical ratings. Decent pick again. Son of Dolph.
13. Utah Jazz
Orlando Woolridge SF 6'9'' 215 22 A- C C C+ C B
Grade: C+
Not sold on him, don't like him at all as a prospect, had a few 20 ppg season in real life so maybe he has pot? But shouldn't he have a better scouted pot? I don't know I only returned a few weeks ago not sure how spencer does draft lately. Would have prefer someone else here.
