Re-signed his best player on slightly above other team's max on 12.5% increase, Play knowing FBB economics is not surprising, kinda surprise with year 6 and year 7 having the same salary, was this a customized contract? Who knows still, didn't overpay for his man, as he was eligible for a higher max but still kept him, him making 29/29 year 6 and 7 and also not a problem as he's easily tradeable now, which is I see him shopping him. Good deal for the Doctor and Play. Should still be a young 31 with the potential boost.

1 year max, smart in keeping him as this way higher than other team's max, if he looks to flip him though would be hard with that high contract. Still, if he wants to reset, good job. Lanier is still an elite rebounder and above average shot blocker, I would have done the same deal. Decent signing for marty.

Still, 3 year deal for go to scorer with very good rebounding is nice, had lowest ratings on multiple categories on FA, almost offered him a 3 year max too but chickened out the last minute. Having him on a 3 year deal instead of a cap killing 4-6 year deal is good gming by whoever though. No one moved at this FA sad.

Good contract and should still be an elite contributor/producer on the last 2 seasons of his deal.

Might have signed to this to be used as filler as I saw erbes saying he had no birds, trade this contract for two-three players and he solve his problem I guess.
