2065 181 Rockets Sign SF Dino Meneghin for $55,440,000 over 3 years.
Like: At 33, Dino is still an elite do-it-all wing.
Don’t like: He’s signed for 3 years max on a team that’s far from contention. They’ll look to reset more than anything but I doubt Houston will receive any good value for that deal. I had Houston tanking for the MJ draft but it looks like they have changed their mind.
2065 181 Jazz Sign PG Eric Money for $16,800,000 over one year.
Like: Money is one of the best pg’s in the league who is still in his prime and only signed for one year.
Don’t like: My team should’ve signed him to a longer term deal. He’ll hit FA again next off-season. Also signing him kills my teams chances to tank for MJ. Oh well. Time to reset I guess.
2065 181 Trail Blazers Sign PG Don Buse for $10,867,939 over one year.
Like: Buse at his price is very good. Another top PG in the league.
Don’t like: He’s in the west so we gotta go against him multiple times. Damn it.
2065 181 Pistons Sign PG Darwin Cook for $115,500,000 over 7 years.
Like: Cook is a flat out stud. Probably the best FA in this class.
Don’t like: We offered him a max deal to join Utah but he decided to stay with Detroit for more money. Welp. Can’t him blame him, though. 💰 talks.
2065 181 Timberwolves Sign PF Kermit Washington for $17,500,000 over one year.
Like: Kermit is still a stud. One of those A A bigs that you must have to win games.
Don’t like: We offered him a one year max to return to Utah but can’t blame him to stay in Minny for more money.
2065 181 Pacers Sign SG Andrew Toney for $115,016,772 over 7 years.
Like: Toney is a very well rounded SG in his prime and has +9 camps left.
Don’t like: The contract. He’s good but not sure if he is a max level player. It also sounds like Pacers are trying to dump him for cheap.
2065 181 Warriors Sign PF Bobby Jones for $181,912,500 over 7 years.
Like: Jones is a great defender. Like Kermit, he’s a must have on your team to compete.
Don’t like: The contract. Yikes. Warriors were quick to dump him. Stool needs to learn the 2nd max rule next time. Someone fill him in.
2065 181 Clippers Sign PG Jo Jo White for $8,000,000 over one year.
Like: JoJo is still a very good PG despite being very old.
Don’t like: I thought Clippers were all in on the tank for MJ? JoJo signing doesn’t make sense. Maybe they’ll look to reset as well?
2065 181 Mavericks Sign C Bob Lanier for $15,000,000 over one year.
Like: Lanier is still a stud big man who ages like fine wine. Another A A type big that you must have on your team to be able to compete.
Don’t like: One of the bigs I was hoping to bring back to Utah. Oh well. Good luck in

Like: 8M a year for a 22 pt scorer. Not bad.
Don’t like: His B- defense.
2065 181 76ers Sign C James Edwards for $61,051,000 over 5 years.
Like: Edwards is incredibly good. He was a huge part of Philly’s success last season.
Don’t like: We forgot to bid for him.
2065 181 Super Sonics Sign C Mark Eaton for $70,000,000 over 7 years.
Like: Eaton is an elite shot blocker that you just gotta have on your team.
Don’t like: He still isn’t a very good rebounder at this stage of his career. Competing for boards against A rebounding type bigs will continue to be difficult for him. For 70M he’s gotta improve in that area to be worth it imo.
2065 181 Grizzlies Sign SF Dan Roundfield for $113,158,440 over 6 years.
Like: Roundfield is very underrated and Memphis were smart not to let him walk. He’s a huge part of their success.
Don’t like: He stays in the Midwest. Was hoping another team outside our division would steal him!
