G'Day to you all from wherever you are joining us in the world,
Welcome to the very first edition of Footy's Inaugural Mid Season Power Bottom Polls. This edition of the Polls is focused on the team's with the brightest future in the league as determined by a collection of the league's finest executives. We received the thoughts and opinions from 8 organizations around the league. Hopefully you enjoy!
1. Seattle Supersonics (70 votes, 5 FPV)
Record: 15-26
Key Players: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard & Jason Maxiell
Galo: Dwight/CP3 is a good foundation and Mark is a really good GM with picks and expirings at his disposal.
Brian: CP3 and Dwight… off they might be pretty special soon
Habes: CP3, Dwight, really good 07s, and another lotto coming.

Footy: Unreal rebuild to date and with the league's best young point guard at the helm, the Sonics look destined for a successful future!
2. Utah Jazz (55 votes, 2 FPV)
Record: 28-15
Key Players: Lebron James, Tyson Chandler, Andris Biendrins, Tayshaun Prince, JR Smith
Ahsan: Anytime you have LeBron, you got a shot. Not only do they have LeBron, they got the threeheaded big rotation of Andris+Tyson+Meka, a superstar SG in J.R. Smith, a damn good 3D wing in TayShaun Price and Leandro Barbosa. Just so much amazing youth on the roster. And they are the second seed out West, scary what their future will be.
Andy: LeBron.
Sargo: Loaded young team led by LeBron. They will be good for a while

Footy: Lebron is the star of this team but this squad has talent throughout. Expect JR and his lucky balls to be back contending for a championship very soon!
3. Orlando Magic (48 votes)
Record: 15-23
Key Players: Al Jefferson
Galo: I like what trap has done and Al Jeff looks like a possible superstar.
Ahsan: Feel like they have most of the back half of last season's lottery on their roster plus 2 lottos this season. Exciting times in Orlando
Habes: Their rookies are uninspiring, but Al Jeff's a stud and they have two lottos and massive cap coming.
Sargo: Decent youth but they, like the Pacers, need an elite young piece
4. Indiana Pacers (42 votes)
Record: 14-29
Key Players: Josh Smith, Trevor Ariza
Galo: I like their wings of Josh and Ariza but they have a lot riding on the 07 draft.
Brian: 6 youngsters with 3 or more years left on their contract that are all 1st round picks. Should have close to enough for 2 max FA contracts next season and their pick to get even better.
DB: I like what this squad has going for it. Picks, Josh Smith, Ariza and Nate the great. Fun and interesting team.
Habes: CV, Josh, and Ariza are good pieces. Ersan's interesting. Raps 07 is very nice. Also has the Heat 07, and I think Kobe explores a rebuild this offseason. Sargo's rebuild isn't going well, but I'm prioritizing rebuilds and mostly overlooking currently good teams with open windows
5. Atlanta Hawks (40 votes)
Record: 6-36
Key Players: Andrew Bynum, Yaroslav Korolev
Ahsan: Bynum is cool plus they got a solid collection of picks. Should be interesting to see what they become in a few seasons.
DB: Bynum along with another top pick/s this year and tons of cap space makes this team an intriguing young team. Getting somewhere
Andy: Bynum and a lot of picks this year. Koro looks decent as well.
Footy: Some unfortunate lotto luck continues to hamper this franchise but Bynum looks to be a solid building piece for the future
6. Memphis Grizzlies (38 votes)
Record: 16-24
Key Players: Deron Williams, Danny Granger, Andre Iguodala
Brian: Triple D’s can it be enough with Grant and Z?
DB: I like where Jeff is at. Iggy, Deron, Granger, another top pick, he might have some room for a max if he doesn't bring back Z.
Andy: Granger, Deron, Iggy (depending on who you ask) and their pick this year
Sargo: Deron, Granger, Graham is a good young core. The rest of that team? Oof
7. Chicago Bulls (33 votes, 1 FPV)
Record: 28-12
Key Players: Tony Parker, Carmelo Anthony, Kenyon Martin
Andy: A core of Parker, Melo, Lou Will is pretty damn good.
Habes: The best and deepest team on this list.
Sargo: They are good now and they will be good in the future. They have a great young core.
8. New Jersey Nets (29 votes)
Record: 12-29
Key Players: Ben Gordon, Tony Allen
Galo: Have some nice pieces. Greeme will figure it out
DB: Nets will have a top pick, tons of cap space and a couple young intriguing prospects already.
Sargo: meh youth but a top pick this year can change it all
9. New York Knicks (19 votes)
Record: 25-17
Key Players: Vince Carter, Richard Jefferson
Ahsan: Their future is always bright because Skillz is always making moves. No matter what their roster is, they are near the top of this ranking just because you know they'll be contending for many seasons to come
Andy: The Jazz may have LeBron but the Knicks have the Marty.
Footy: Skillz is always going to have a bright future as GM's around the league continue to buy what he is selling at over the recommended retail price. This team has plenty of assets and flexibility and will continue to be a force in the league for the foreseeable future.
10. Dallas Mavericks (17 votes)
Record: 22-19
Key Players: Ricky Davis, Baron Davis, Zach Randolph, Mehmet Okur
Ahsan: Ricky too nice. Baron been developing well, Gerald still young. Love their core.
Habes: I'm spiralling out of control, to be sure, but Ricky, Zbo, GWall, Baron, Humphries, Varejao, and Korver are all under 27, and the Philly and Portland 08s look promising.

Footy: Maybe it's just me, but I really liked this team as it was composed at the start of the season. This iteration is young and talented but is by no means as exciting. Still a team with enough talent to be a contender in the next few seasons
