I remember one iteration of BBS we combined the league with GM's from that other league commissioned by that British guy who was too cool for school. It had that WWE vs WCW vibe from the late 90's. sounds like bbs and top flight |

devereux st cloud changed bbs forever iirc i was a no.1 seed facing mark in the first round. st cloud was a disappointing wing prospect with something like c or c+ handling. mark's pg (deron i think?) went down, he put st cloud at pg, and he dominated. that's when we all figured out assists are irrelevant in fbb and wings who don't turn it over dominate at pg. Yeah, wow. It's coming back! I overreacted to how he played for Mark and traded a superstar PG (D-Rose?) for St.Cloud and a bunch of picks, and got slammed for it. And he ended up being awesome. I traded rose to mark for deron lol |

It was hardcore back then.... Majority of these new guys wouldn't last a week in that league. Brian wouldn't have lasted a day lol I think a lot of those old GMs were absolutely awful tbh. Tiger was a terrible gm |

Bc I definitely dealt St. Cloud to skillz for rose, and he got brutalized for the deal. Then st cloud became a (sigh) cheat code think our rose/Deron deal was a different version. But I could be wrong |

I was in the library supposed to be studying for a midterm but lums was biting on this rose/Deron deal and I prioritized what was important I think pwople mad I included a 1st or something lol they were only like 2 years off. Rose was like best scoring pg and Deron best assists guy. I had like least 2 other star scorers and wanted a more pure passer over a ballhog. I did get far that playoff year. |
