This didn't reduce your ability to move up in the draft, there is a cap hit difference of 600k between my pick #14 and #29, still does not affect the ability to offer 2 maxes

if i had 290k more in cap space right now, I would have happily kept Smith and used him as depth in a league that is short on rebounding, he has uses

From what Ive been told. FAs are a crapshoot, none of those secondary attributes have any type of significance. Im not even sure if they even play a factor in resigning players.

Break has asked me for advice numerous times and I like break. I would never single him out. Always defended him.

I would have offered this to any team with enough space to still offer a max contract, break was the first person I saw since he offered me a deal for the 14. And I hate to break it to you buddy, but if the situation was flipped, I would've done the deal.

Break was online and he responded fast. 100% would have kept looking at other teams that had enough space like Suns, Blazers, etc etc. Whether or not they take it is up to them, I didn't conceal my intentions from break and I wouldn't have with anyone else
