nearly ended up heading out there for college just couldn't bring myself to go someplace that was green and gold... had some friends who did, winter is no joke out there on the plains. it may get cold as fuck up there but i'd still take livin up on the range than out there. this all workin from home and not seeing anyone has kinda made me wish i did have a job that was easy to do remotely in good times i'd love to live up in northern mn. spent many a couple weeks during every summer up in the area of Bemidji   Moms cousin had a large cabin on lake Beltrami just outside of Bemidji. Beautiful country. and yeah, the plains of ND in the winter... been places where people think they have it bad (Chicago ) and yeah.. no aside from that super fun -30 with another -20 windchil we had a few years back for a couple days i really havent used my big coat the whole time ive lived here i've done the spring coat with a hoodie approach its colder in the twin cities than chicago. its just a weird wet/windy cold here that makes all your joints hurt |
