Basically Foyle for Hunter. Why not? Hunter blocks better, needs serious work on his rebounding but is locked up 4 years.

Hunter is a good 3rd big but we are looking increasingly unlikely to make CY this year.
The extra 1st will help us in our deals to get better this season or in the offseason

EVERY team will have cap in 03 and can make the same max offers to these players. ~25% of the stars will change spots. He has nothing besides those two players and has been inconsistent with his decision-making. It's a good pick. 2004 picks in general are high variance picks and high variance picks should be valuable. Certainly worth more than Mikki Moore, Adonal Foyle or Steven Hunter. |

I normally am very cavalier trading future picks but I am very hesitant to deal my own 04 pick because of those dynamics unless it's for a difference-maker.
All of our rosters are expiring. Crawford could leave to play in Seattle even if I offer the Max.

We are all making a lot of assumptions about the future. I think this is good value for Hunter but if you think we could have got more I'm happy to hear how much more that’s fair. I don’t love the deal for you, but i’m frustrated to have had hunter and four middling picks offered for Parker and then see hunter go for a pick. That's fair too. Big love |
