Yea, I can't accept this one. Thanks tho boss man It is good to see the justice system work. So many instances in the past where these guys get off or a minor offense. Way too many. That video was absolutely disgusting. The manner in which Mr. Floyd was murdered was absolutely disgusting. But to see the murderer be guilty for murder is a celebration (it shouldn't be, but it is). |

Columbus Ohio police have confirmed the passing of a 15-year-old, Makiah Bryant after being shot by an officer. Family says they called police for help cause a group of girls were fighting her daughter outside her house. The young girl pulled out a knife to protect herself from the other girls but an officer allegedly shot her immediately 4 times

Cops in Spain disarmed a guy with machete the other day and they didn't shoot him 5 times in the chest

unless these men were the flash, I dunno how they stop that girl mid stab
lot of shitty stuff going on in america, and it's terrible a 15 yr old died here, but that cop also saved someone mid stab...
it wasn't like they rolled up and she was standing off to the side waving a knife around and he gunned her down..

I disagree, in this specific situation when a person is seconds away from getting stabbed/slashed and potentially die you shoot to neutralize the threat. You send out multiple shots because cops are trained with their weapons but they are human, they don't have some sort of superhuman ability of 100% accuracy and even if they did it still would not matter in this case imo. There's still a chance if she gets hit with a non lethal bullet that she still has the adrenaline to slash that girls throat. |

as a POC I am very upset with alot that is going on in this country and I am sad that girl is dead but this exact situation I cant see what else reasonably could have been done to protect the other female with 100% certainty.

I tried to look what you were referencing, only found two videos from 2019 and neither comes anything close to this situation. both don't seem to have a victim actively being attacked. People may disagree with me on this but if it was the girl was attacking the officer with the knife, I don't believe he should shoot. in the interest of protecting a civilian life however, he needs to protect with a certainty. |

No offense to any of you military guys but y'all seem to be the most adamant about the correct use of force in this situation and that's the issue with us cops. They're trained like military and they are not military lol. Shooting to disarm isn't like a western movie. What neccesity was there to fire off 5 shots? Why was he the only cop that engaged if the threat was real? There were 3 other cops there who reacted in disbelief afterwards. You shoot to disarm by firing off one non lethal shot to the leg, arm etc. He popped off 5 shots straight to the chest lol |
