Have we had a team go over the HC after the deadline? I asked for precedent because I dont remember. Ill figure out a different solution that doesnt involve slowing the league down. Lets problem solve it. If this happens again then that team suffers the HC penalty, no questions asked. |

It won't happen again anyway...I am sure there will be a rule change. And what upside is there to punishing Marty? Is it 2008 and we have a wait list of 10 active members that don't have teams? Or do people just really want to see Marty burn? No GM wants to feel slighted so that's why I think consistent treatment is most important above all else. Let's be objective here for just a fraction of a second. why are you wasting your time with greeme lol |

He wasn't in this situation, he had more time to get under but he wasn't in this situation Before day 100 was simmed, Spencer saw that royal was over and decided to delay the sim to make sure he can go under. Here, Spencer didn't. Is it on Spencer? Nope but something was set already. Hard to all of a sudden make a change. Do it going forward. Everything is on me in the end. And thats fine. But i want a rule in place after this situation so that we all know what it is going forward. Im not gonna punish Chris if I didnt punish Royal. But i need to problem solve this for the future. |

You make a trade you should be aware of the salary implications. Especially knowing that you can't trade anymore after day 99. You go over, you suffer. Simple as that.

If you go over the HC at the deadline the penalty is automatically incurred. |

I should have been penalized but you waited on royal and said you would always wait for gms at the deadline. You set this precedent so you would need to change it. |

I know some of you would rather just run around with your hands in the air. And i feel ya. That can be fun. Instead lets develop a rule that speaks specifically to this situation. teams need to be responsible for knowing their cap situations. If they go over during the deadline, HC rules need to come into play. |
